Here are answers to some of the most common questions about visiting Sky Harbor.
Do you have a courtesy car?
Yes! A courtesy car is now available for our fly-in visitors that have a valid drivers license and are at least 21 years of age. First-come first-serve basis. Available for up to 2 hours and up to 20 miles from Sky Harbor. The instructions, key lock box, and forms are located in the Sky Harbor Pilot Briefing Room. Parking information for Canal Park and Duluth Visitor Guides are also available.
Do you have hangar space available?
At this time, we do not have any space available for short- or long-term rental. If you are interested in long-term hangar rental, please contact the airport manager to get on the waiting list.
Do you allow underwing camping?
Yes, we do. We just ask that you stay out of the runway and taxiway safety areas. Outside the fence is City Park and Beach, so please follow all rules pertaining to those areas if you leave the airport premises. For any further details, please contact the airport manager.
What are your current fuel prices?
Visit Airnav or 100LL.com for the current prices.
Can we get fuel at the dock?
Yes. The fuel station is located conveniently right next to the dock and the fuel hose is 100 feet long.
What credit cards do you accept?
Fuel terminal accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Multiservice.
Are there any charges for tie downs/parking?
Yes. It is $10 per night. You can enjoy two nights free with your fuel purchase. Monthly rates are $90 per month or $450 for a six-month season.
Is the airport open after hours?
Sky Harbor is a 24/7 public airport. The main building is accessible after hours and weekends with the emergency frequency on the coded airside door. The fuel is self-service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is assisted service when the airport manager is on duty at the airport.
Do you have maintenance at your airport?
Our resident mechanic specializes in repairs and maintenance of all sizes and stress levels. Jonathan has seen it all, and is likely already working up a plan while you’re explaining the issue.

How do we get our floatplane in or out of the water?
The airport manager can help you arrange an arrival or departure time. The airport is equipped with a hydraulic floatplane cart for the purpose of towing floatplanes in or out of the water. The airport manager will be the one towing your floatplane.
Where do we park our car overnight if we are flying out of your airport?
The airport manager can provide designated locations to park your car overnight for up to a week or two while you fly out to your destination.
